Marinate the veal with onions and soy sauce beforehand so that the marinated veal steak will be soft when grilled. The marinade will serve as a tangy addition to the side dish.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
veal (meat) (2-3 chops) 300 g
mayonnaise 120 g
onion 1 unit
soy sauce 1 tbsp.
eggs 1 pc.
pepper (optional) 2 pinches
Prepare the ingredients for the marinated veal steak.
How to make marinated veal steak:
After rinsing the meat, lay a piece of veal in the form of a chop on a cutting board, cover with a thick plastic bag and moderately baste on both sides. (The bag does not allow the juice from the meat to splash when beating. And we don’t even have to wash the hammer).
Pepper each chop just a little on one side. Salt is not necessary because of its presence in the soy sauce and mayonnaise.
Peel the peeled onion and cut into rings.
Pour the soy sauce and mayonnaise in a bowl.
After mixing the products in a bowl the marinade is ready. Dip pieces of veal on all sides in it, leave them in the marinade. Cover the bowl and put in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
The next day lightly beat an egg.
Pour the egg to the veal in the marinade, mix.
On a well heated frying pan put pieces of veal, trying to leave marinade in a bowl. You can do without oil, as there is enough juice in the meat and fat in the mayonnaise. We fry the marinated veal steak on a good heat for 10 minutes on each side, without covering the pan with a lid.
Wash the pan, put it on medium heat, put steaks on the bottom.
Pour the marinade and onion on top and, under a closed lid, bring the veal steaks to cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve marinated veal steaks traditionally – with potatoes, vegetables, greens.
